    Life for a Life Empty Life for a Life

    An "Eye for an Eye inversion" law allows every life saved to credit the saver one legal murder.
    What kind of society is this to cause this law.
    How does it affect the medical and law enforcement professionals?
    What about the man who is out hunting his family's killers. How does he earn the right to kill half a dozen people the courts won't touch?

    {I want to use these ideas on a single world. The crew makes a cargo drop and:
    Saves someone important.
    Accidentally kills someone who had earned a great many credits and now the whole community is after you.
    Saves an entire town or city from some massive destruction, and are owed hundreds or thousands of 'Free' Murders. People are now contacting you to hire you to take care of some of their problems.}
